  • Good article in The Nation on offshore tax havens. One proposal: Ensure cooperation with threat of travel embargo. We've had one against Cuba for decades for no good reason. Why not an embargo that makes sense? #
  • From ordering steak and lobster to serving it. - WSJ. Am I a terrible person for taking such joy from this? #
  • Latest entry "Addicted to Empire" reminded me of one of the few anti-drug ads that I think was pretty effective. It's also a great metaphor for the pathology of empire. #
  • Just  a couple more things to fix and I can get on to CSS, graphics and maybe even writing a post *gasp* #
  • Switching over to a new theme. Absentee designers and non-standards-compliant browsers are ruining my sleep. #
